Delphinium

The painting "Delphinium" is painted in oil on canvas (canvas on cardboard).
The painting was painted in the garden from nature. The sultry July day was replaced by a brief rain and after it all the flowers became even brighter!
I wanted to convey both the heat and the brightness of the "washed" colors!
