This is one of my original paintings.
The Original Oil painting "Iris" was painted in 2019.
My favorite flowers are peonies and irises and lilacs! I have a large garden, but there arent many irises growing yet.
But when they bloom, I try to draw them more. Probably thanks to my love for irises, paintings with them please many of my friends on Instagram)
A picture with flowers is a great gift for a wedding, Thanksgiving, Mothers Day or Christmas! The flowers in the picture will never wither! And if you give a picture with flowers for a housewarming, you will be remembered forever!
The painting is painted in oil on canvas. Canvas on a stretcher.
I like to paint with oil in thick strokes. This technique is called - Impasto painting
The sides are painted like the front. It is wired for immediate hanging.
The size of the canvas painting is 17.7" x 13.7" (45x35 cm).
