Shumilin Alexandr

Biography

I was born (1961) and live in Moscow.
I work in the style of abstract expressionism, in which I have found the most comfortable way of free expression.
My activity in abstract art is my lifestyle.
My works are in private collections of Russia, USA, Canada, and several European countries.
I seriously prepare for each of my next work, and I approach the beginning of the creation process gradually. I need to understand that I am fully ready to transfer the accumulated creativity to the canvas. It must be replenished regularly, because it is not eternal. To maintain internal energy, I need to communicate with nature and positive people. Sometimes I listen to old and new jazz compositions, and classical music. I work until the current state of the painting acquires sufficient harmony and internal energy, that reflect my feelings and impressions of the surrounding world. The painting becomes the result of my subjective experience while working on it.
I am a participant in a number of exhibitions of abstract art that have taken place in Moscow.
I am a member of:
Creative Union of Artists of Russia;
Union of Abstract Artists of Russia.
