For the TET holiday (Lunar New Year), Vietnamese flower markets offer three types of trees instead of Christmas trees: peach trees with pink flowers, apricot trees with yellow flowers, and tangerine trees. Sizes range from small bonsai to full size trees. Peach trees are characteristic of Northern Vietnam, and apricot trees are characteristic of Southern Vietnam mostly. They also sell whole grapefruit trees, hung with huge fruit balls. On the roads you can notice large trucks loaded with trees. This is a typical view from a window in the center of Hanoi. The technogenic landscape is also a calling card of the city. There is a beauty in this artistic disorder and chaos.
