Sleep

The picture was painted by me from a model who posed in the studio for several sessions. I was attracted by the perspective from the back because this compressed pose conveys the emotion of frozenness and emotional closeness, loneliness and detachment even in a dream. The beauty and grace of the curves of the female body in this pose are shown as advantageously as possible.
