Lermontov artist

Mikhail Lermontov in addition to the genius of writing was also an artist? and not aby what. Lermontov owns at least 13 paintings, many watercolors and drawings. As the basis of my painting, I took Lermontovs work "Caucasian view of Elbrus" in 1837 written in oil. Imagine how he was inspired by this view. Scenes of Caucasian life from Lermontovs sketches flash by in the haze of the mountains, and Lermontov himself is lifted up by his genius on a rock. I do not know if my picture can be considered an homage, since it is written in a completely different technique, but I can say for sure that this is a tribute to the artist and writer.
