The Sphinx of Innsmouth

The painting depicts a dark sphinx, inspired by the dark setting of the literature of Howard Lovecraft. Green gold leaf on the painting gives it a magical shine and volume, and also creates the effect of dynamic movement, which cannot be conveyed through a photo. The painting is painted in oil on canvas on a stretcher, size 60x60 cm. Covered with water-repellent acrylic-styrene varnish.
