Olga Smirnova is the author and performer of theater curtains, decorative panels and tapestries for public and private interiors, as well as panels made using silk painting.

In recent years, the artist has been working in the hot batik technique, evoking admiration for the masterly possession of this complex technique. Technique hot batik - a multi-step process and time-consuming, nicknamed hot for using melted wax. Hot batik allows painting on any material, including silk.

Olga Smirnova's favorite theme is flowers and architecture, immersed in a conventional landscape. Eternally alive and beautiful, they combine reality and mystery, living and divine.
