Juicy slices

This is a still life with watermelon slices and a ceramic plate. Under the rays of the summer sun, a juicy, sweet pulp of watermelon glows with a scarlet light. He is the protagonist of this simple still life.
I love to write still lifes. I like the combination of different objects and materials. Glass, metal, ceramics, fruits, fabric reflect light differently and have different textures. I admire each subject individually. And it’s very good when I manage to combine them into one whole.
