Biography

Irina Daronina is a professional artist-designer.

Multiple Laureate of International competitions, exhibitions and festivals of contemporary art. Member of the Eurasian Art Union. Has a higher art education (NSPU and Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University). Specialty - teacher of fine arts.

Irina works every day with color, with paints, choosing the best and catching the viewer from them. As a result of many years of work as a designer, her classic approach to painting has acquired a different perspective, and now, when creating paintings, her attention is focused on color, composition and texture.

An amazing combination of colors, a successful composition and non-standard techniques allow her to create interesting graphic paintings in the style of abstraction, which are highly appreciated by experts in contemporary art from different countries.

Irina was born in Russia in the city of Novosibirsk. From early childhood she was fond of drawing and attended an art studio.

From 1985 to 1989 she studied at the Institute of Arts (formerly the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, art and graphic faculty.

From 1991 to 1994 she studied at the Russian State Pedagogical University. Herzen (St. Petersburg) at the Faculty of Art and Graphics. During her studies, her works on classical painting and academic drawing were selected to the methodological fund of the university as the best and illustrative ones, for use in teaching subsequent courses of students. Irina graduated quite successfully from the university in 1994.

In 1994, she began design activities in publishing companies. From 1998 to 2005, she worked as a chief designer at a world-class company "Sibirskiy Bereg", developing packaging design for famous snacks "Kirieshki", "Kompashki", "Bombaster", "Birka" and etc.

From 2005 to the present day Irina has been engaged in graphic design (in business mode) for large Russian food and household chemicals companies.

In the period from 2010 to 2017, Irina taught ancient Russian wood painting (Mezen and Permogorsk).

She began to participate in exhibitions-competitions with her paintings only in 2018. And for 3 years she has been recognized as a laureate of the International exhibitions and competitions of contemporary art 21 times.

In addition, Irina participates in All-Russian and International exhibitions as an artist, and sometimes as an expert in the Jury and professionally evaluates the competitive paintings. Since February 2021, Irina has been a Member of the Expert Council (Jury) of the International Festival of Artistic Creativity "Assembly of Arts".

Irina has big plans for the future and they are all connected with contemporary art.

The exhibition featured 3200 paintings. The Expert Council (jury) consisted of 56 people from 23 countries of the World.

Awarded the title of laureate of the 1st degree (three paintings were awarded with diplomas of the 1st degree). Moscow. June 2018. Three Laureate Diplomas (three paintings took 1st place in different nominations).
