Red fox lying on a white ground Painting by Julia Kuzina
Author: Kuzina Julia
canvas/oil 25cm x 25cm 2020
The paintings of the series are intended to create the impression of a frozen moment in anticipation of destruction, a certain post-apocalyptic world, to cause conflicting feelings of peace and anxiety.
In recent works, I use translucent beads on oil paintings because I’m interested in going beyond the boundaries of the canvas and explore the play of light and shadow on the painting when adding additional objects.
Oil on canvas, beads.
Transparent beads are sewn to the canvas.
The painting looks different depending on the lighting. You can see this in additional photos.
The arrangement of the beads is the text Red fox lying on a white ground in Braille.
Comes in a box ready to hang. Sides painted, dont need frame.
