Nikolai Raibats is in love with the mountains, he grew up in the mountains, from his youth he went in for mountaineering, became a candidate master of sports in rock climbing, was a member of the national team of the CS DSO "Spartak". And having become an artist, he did not stop treating himself with all sports severity. In principle, he depicts only those peaks that he himself climbed. It is not for nothing that fellow artists emphasize that the mountain landscapes of Raibats have a special energy and a sense of presence.
