Harbor near Bali. Crete

This view was painted from sketches after a trip to Crete in the village of Bali. During the trip, I wrote 40 sketches from nature. The motive is not complicated at first glance, but that air of sfumato that envelops everything around and gives a sense of depth in the picture is one of the main tasks in the artists work.
