This sketch was painted in the evening after painting in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Chamzinka. The evening was very warm and calm. Usually I am not very interested in urban metal structures, but this time I saw the motive differently. The farm is partially abandoned, the metal has rusted and acquired a picturesque color. The play of light and color, the richness of textures enchanted me. I was attracted not by the objects, but by the abstract surroundings, the warm, gliding light. The study is framed and hangs in my kitchen at home. The study evokes pleasant memories for me.
