The scent of lilac

Scandinavian legend says that lilac is a joint invention of the Sun and Iris (rainbow). That lilac is a mix of sun rays and rainbow glare. Spring generously sent these rays throughout Europe, but when it reached the Scandinavian countries, only a purple hue remained in its arsenal. Spring was upset and added white lilac to the northerners. The contrast of lilac and soft yellow will be a wonderful addition to any room.
