Odzun Monastery, VI century. Odzun Monastery is one of the most beautiful early medieval buildings in Armenia. In the eighth century it was renewed by the same Hovhannes Odznetsi. It was then that this dome-basilica, typical of Armenian church architecture, was enriched with colorful frescoes inside and richly carved on the outside. (based on barev.today)
