Biography

I was born in 1961 in Pokhvistnevo of Kuibyshev region.
In 1977 I graduated from The Children's School of Art in Pokhvistnevo. In 1981I graduated State Regional Educational Budgetary Music College in Dimitrovgrad. Since 1984 to 1992 I was a teacher in The Children's School of Art in Novoulyanovsk.
In the technique of oil painting I have been working since 2000. I write because I see my mission in it and the meaning of my life. Since 2005 I am a Chairman of the Board of Public organization of the Ulyanovsk artists’ association ''Raduga''.
I work a lot because I am sure that only thanks to the hard every day work an artist can master drawing, composition, perspective, a feeling of colours, to learn the properties of materials, maintain achievements and reach a new level of mastery.
I attach a fundamental importance in my paintings to the light and the ability to show it. I always develop the sense and understanding of the subtlest color gradations.
What I feel during the work is beyond words. You can learn an artist only through his paintings. So welcome to my gallery! I will be glad to Your comments!
Some words about technique. I work in a multilayer painting technique with gradual drying of each layer to achieve maximum clarity and brightness of colors. If You are interested in this issue, I will be glad to share my experience.
