In the province

The province lives in silence!?
The streets are deserted.
When the rain pours from the clouds,
so monotonously, tediously.

Under this music of the rain,
yawning mechanically,
you burn your lifes time in vain,
and you think: normal.

Among the strings of fences,
boredom has settled here for centuries!
The dark eye sockets of sleeping windows,
the gray melancholy of nondescript everyday life.
