At the break of summer

Aug. Sky in clouds.
Thunder rumbles in the distance, sometimes.
On a quiet and dormant river
shallows the shore before the wave.

Grasses turn yellow, and derbennik
bloomed with unknown beauty.
As if a wizard was working here,
coloring the floodplain behind him.

A black kite is circling in flight.
The district breathes peaceful sleep.
How good that we can still
live with determined warmth.
