On Ivanov's Day

On Ivanovs Day: grass up to the waist,
in the dew, in the coastal strip,
carelessly washing in the river water,
you will see the world in all its glory.

And in this is the goodness of the universe,
love and faith in triumph,
the expectation of a beautiful dream,
and the existence of a peaceful life.

And you will unconsciously notice
that it did not appear for nothing:
a river backwater and a sign...
Thoughts sometimes brighten.

The Lord was once baptized like this,
and bequeathed: to love people,
but those covenants are forgotten, in the captivity of ideas.
