Evening lights

Blue dusk creeps
on the quiet Tomsk city.
Light in the windows is lit.
Instead of ghostly awards

this light inspires joy,
from the fact that there is housing.
Its just people huddling in it,
not inveterate crook.

All day they are at work,
work in sweat, in the morning,
that I would return home by night,
warm up by the fire.

And the lights of those distant windows,
they say only one thing:
people at home, rest,
before a strong winter sleep.
