Biography

Vorobieva Ekaterina was born in 1973 in Moscow; parents are the graduates from Moscow State University (philosophical and psychological departments).

Education
• In 1990, graduated from the English special school №1210 and evening art school №2 of the Krasnopresnensky district.
• In 1990-1991, trained in Vladimir Kireev’s studio on Solyanka.
• In 1997, graduated from art-graphic faculty of the Moscow State University of Printing Arts.
• In 2002, received additional training in the field of advertising creative and copyright at the International Institute of Advertising.
• In 2012, graduated from the Faculty of Sociology of the French University College of Moscow State University.
• In 2016, graduated from the post-graduate school of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Professional activities
• In 1991-1997, combined her training at the Institute with the work of an interpreter (Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IMF) and the designer of book publishing houses in Moscow.
• Since 1997, began working in the advertising industry. Developed corporate design and advertising strategies of companies such as: Moscow Chamber of Commerce, Gazprombank Leasing, TrastGaz, Rosinbank, Legprombank, Rosenergobank, Garant Invest, Petroffbank, Spetsvysotstroy and others. In 1998, together with the Russian Association of Advertising Agencies organized the Ist Moscow Festival of bank advertising, in 1999 - together with the Association of Russian Banks and the psychological faculty of Moscow State University that a series of seminars on the psychology of advertising.
• Since 2001, started to combine work in the advertising industry with the realization of personal projects in the field of contemporary art.
• In 2004, opened her own advertising studio.
• Since 2008, she teaches the fine arts of children and adults in her creative workshop.
• Since 2008 she decorates private and public interiors with his paintings, works on order.

Since 2008 - a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, section «Graphics». Author's publications in the official catalog of the International Art Salon (2001), the magazine «Child of Men» (2006), in the official catalog of the I Moscow International Biennale for Young Art «Stop! Who goes there? » (2008), in the magazine «Diplomat» (2008).

Scope of creative interests: 1) theory of contemporary art and the sociology of culture; 2) social and psychological problems of society and man, their reflection in the artistic culture; 3) psychology of childhood; 4) plastic problems of fine art.
