A bright sunny day in the ancient Russian city of Pereslavl-Zalessky. It is the birthplace of Alexander Nevsky, a city in which Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great loved to be. Once the bustling city with factories and shipyards turned into a quiet cozy town with numerous churches, drowning in greenery. In the painting a church from red stone behind the branches of a slender birch tree. Along the church wall narrow paths descend from the hill. In the distance you can see the roofs of houses and domes of churches. People are walking along the path. Above the city, bathed in the sun, a clear blue sky.
