Early spring. The sky was covered with cold gray clouds. Thawed patches of snow on the slopes of the hill. Small wooden houses of the Russian village stand in the shadow of branched birches. In the distance thick thickets of dark woods. At the hill on narrow bridges, a woman washes clothes in the river.
