October on Valaam

On the island of Lake Ladoga, Valaam is a clear autumn day. In the grass on the hill is the road. Near the road there is an old wooden house with a chimney. Near the sagging wooden fence there is a tall pine and bright red clusters of mountain ash. Far along the path along the house of red brick there is a man, but on the contrary there is a truck. On the hill behind the branches of trees covered with golden leaves rise the blue domes of the Valaam Monastery. The golden dome of the bell tower merges with the clouds of the autumn sky.
