Purple stars

Walking through the woods, I enjoyed the smell of pine trees and the lovely spring birds singing. My attention was drawn to the tall pines that intertwined their branches against the blue sky with clouds. Returning from the sky to earth, I saw a clearing with very beautiful flowers, they were flowers of sleepy grass. Delicate mauve and bright purple flowers seemed to glow on the sparsely green spring grass. Flowers with bright yellow cores glowed and looked like stars that had somehow appeared on earth. I really wanted to capture such beauty on canvas to share my impressions.
The painting is painted in oil on a linen canvas with a stretcher.
