Italian evening

In “Italian evening”, I wanted to convey the feeling of fleetingness and fragility of the beauty of blooming nature, a garden filled with air and the smell of fresh greenery. A ray of sunshine, gliding along the leaves, filled the clusters of berries with light and stopped on the face of a beautiful grape picker. After a moment, the beam will go further and the picture will change. And the former moment will never be again.

But at the same time, this work is timeless. Such clothes and hairstyles of a girl can be either modern or relate to other times. At work, using the texture paste, elements of antique ornaments are indicated. Which refers us to that historical period. So I wanted to talk about time and beauty, about these two variable values.
The work was done on canvas stretched on a stretcher. Only professional materials are used. It is covered with glossy varnish.
