As if a magnet, the waterfall turns my gaze back to this work by Igor over and over.
The colors dance in a peculiar rhythm. The space of the canvas curves and draws into the center of the image. I turn out to be inside the painting. Everything vanishes. There is only the energy of water and the might of nature.
This rhythm sounds in the entire Scotland series. It sets the music in the other works, painted later.
For me, it’s the true sounding of the beloved artist.
