FLYING INTO THE DREAM REALITY

Leia was flying fast into her dream to get a bit closer to the reality. The border between dream and reality is thin. Which world is more real? Where do we go in our dreams? This piece was inspired by the ideas which I express in my still unfinished fantasy novel where dream and reality interact closely in the world of a woman describing her life.

This painting belongs to my series of large oil on canvas which do express ideas about the world and try to make a dialogue with the viewer, to ask questions, to discuss ideas. Many times I write directly on the paintings of this series quotations from poetry and prose of my own and other authors.
