Dreams about Italy

The artwork was painted specifically for a personal exhibition at the Hermitage-Vyborg Exhibition Center, on canvas, with the Hermitage-Vyborg stamp on the reverse side. A work from the Italian series. In 2010-2011, I traveled a lot, including in beautiful Italy. The prototype of the female image is both the Madonna and child, the eternal female image, especially in Italian painting, of a certain period, and my new role, at that time new, - the role of the mother. Every mother, taking her child in her arms, periodically thinks about what path is prepared for him, into what world I am carrying him, leading him...This work, reflection, on the theme of motherhood, sometimes our life is like a dream, we walk with our eyes closed, through the beautiful Italian streets, around the aromas of southern herbs, trees, the earth warmed by the sun, but what happens if you open your eyes?
The work can be transported, either in a roll or in a box, anywhere in the world, at the expense of the buyer. My work is located in different parts of the world, a lot of experience in packaging and preparing documents for the export of paintings and graphics.
