Hot Stream

The winter cold pressed and bound the bed of a small river with ice. I was in this place in the summer and knew that several small springs come out here at once. Now they were not particularly conspicuous, but they continued to feed the river and carried the inner warmth of the earth for it. Even in the middle of winter, this little warmth was enough to fight the January cold.
