Historical Irkutsk plays a prominent role in the artist's work. He enjoys depicting the old streets and houses of Irkutsk, with their unique character and ancient character, living their lives alongside modern neighborhoods. The Angarsk master's paintings have a soft, omnipresent light. He could paint air.

The artist used a pictorial language of realism, understandable to everyone, creating lyrical, bright, and kind paintings, which, of course, stem from the artist's own worldview, the exhibition organizers note. The artist left many of his works to his children after his death, so we wish that these works would also go to the people, as well as to private collections.
