Landscape with a Lake. Borovoye

Borovoye is one of the most beautiful places in Kazakhstan where the Zernovs were evacuated to during World War II. Here, far from state artistic organizations and safe from socialist realists aggression the painter made a great number of richly-coloured studies and a few pictures including this one, summing up her impressions of the wonderful land of mountains, pine trees, rocks and lakes.
