Morning mist

This is exactly the task I set myself when I started working on "Morning mist". A minimalistic and at the same time eye-catching picture that you want to look at and relax at the same time. I painted the bird quite fast, but there was a question about the background: "How best to convey the mood?" My family kept asking me, "Why are you doing something there again?" Its already good enough," when I was painting the background once again. But I couldnt calm down until I found the perfect balance of cold and warm, smooth color transitions and mosaic.
