Biography

Borodkin Alexey, Russia, Yaroslavl city.
Graduated from Yaroslavl State University named after P.G. Demidov, postgraduate study at the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, PhD in Geographical Sciences.
She has an artistic and pedagogical education - a teacher of drawing and painting.
The main genre is landscape, the technique is watercolor, oil, pastel.
The main goal of creative work is to popularize art and science, their interaction and complementarity, combining a pictorial search for phenological features of nature, geographical and geoecological knowledge, the formation in the viewer of a new form of culture – the culture of sustainable development, as well as strengthening the cultural and environmental potential of the population.
The works were acquired in private collections of Rybinsk, Orel, Tyumen, Petrozavodsk, Cherepovets, St. Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of Russia, as well as Ukraine, USA, Cuba, Holland, Germany, Israel.
Laureate of the International Competition "ART.EXCELLENCE.AWARDS".
Membership in creative associations: Member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia since 2012. Member of the Union of Russian Artists since 2018 Member of the International Academy of Contemporary Arts (IACA) since 2023.

Exhibition history:
1995 – Personal exhibition of paintings. Secondary school No. 36 in Rybinsk.
1998 – Personal exhibition "Palette of Nature" of the Rybinsk Art Center.
1998 – Marine-themed exhibition. Ushakov Museum, Rybinsk.
2001-2002 – Joint exhibitions of the Regional House of Folk Art. Yaroslavl city.
2003 – Exhibition at the Sheremetyevo Center Bolshoe Selo, Yaroslavl region.
From 2003 to the present, he has been a participant in the annual exhibitions of artists of Rybinsk at the Art and Historical Museum of Rybinsk, Yaroslavl and other Russian cities.
2015 – Charity exhibition "Colors of Azerbaijan". MGIMO. The watercolor work "Kelbajar Mountains" is presented.
2016 – A series of watercolor botanical illustrations was prepared for the atlas-determinant "Herbs of the forests of the national Park "Pleshcheyevo Lake".
2017-2018 – A series of watercolor botanical illustrations was prepared for the children's coloring book "Plants of the Yaroslavl Region".
2019 – The exhibition "70 years of friendship of peoples". Infospatial Event Hall, Moscow. Organized by the Union of Russian Artists in an Expart format. The event is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and Russia.
2021 – "Our Heritage" Exhibition of the Moscow regional branch of the Union of Russian Artists.
