Biography

My name is Olesia
Im a professional artist member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Honored by severalinternationalawords and sertificates.
Since 2004 I has been taking part in Russian and international art exhibitions and symposiums.
Many of my paintings are presented in different museums and private collections in Russia, Great Britain, USA, Ukraine, Belarus, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, Makedonia, Latvia, Turkey, Montenegro, Tunisia and Egypt.

Becoming a professional artist I draw artworks on those subjects that excite me. I love colors, art, traveling and different caultures.
I likes to paint the etudes transmitting on my canvases the feeling of freedom and reunification with the nature. The empty canvas for me is whether “not the stadium where i expresses her ambitions but the temple where i confesses my religion”.
While painting i always tries to transmit not the true copy of the image, not the object but my relation to this object and its perception.

All artworks are made with oil or acrylic paints on canvas or mixed media on paper. I love its rough texture and colors.
I am so happy that I can do what I love.

In 2006 Olesia with her painting “On the beach” took second place at the international competition of artists named after Antonio Gualda in Granada, Spain (category: Oil Painting. Small Size)

Works are in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Kiev, the House of the Museum of Voloshin and Koktebel, the Bakhchsarai Historical and Cultural Museum of the Reserve, as well as in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, France, Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Montenegro, India, Tunisia and the USA.
