Sunny Day

The neat little houses of the Russian village were comfortably located on a high hill. The bright rays of the sun covered their log walls in red. The houses have a haystack. Everything fell asleep over the snow. Behind the roofs of houses in the background of a gloomy winter sky are tall spruce trees and branchy birches. At the hill on the edge of the village there is a snow-covered wooden arch of the gate. Birds are sitting on it, basking in the sun. From the gate up the hill there is a narrow strip of path in the snow.
