Spring flood on the river

Early spring in the Russian village. Along the low log houses with small windows, between snowdrifts are the cold waters of the blue river. A bright sun on a blue cloudy sky rises over a dark strip of dense forest. Rays of te sun are lit up the branches of tall trees neare the houses. Between the trees a narrow path. The snow has hardly grown dull and does not sparkle with that customary frosty whiteness of the Russian winter.
