Biography

Born in 1969 in Tomsk. Graduated from the Crimean Art College. M.S. Samokisha. He studied at the art studio of Hugo Schaufler. Chairman of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (Crimea), General Director of the Tauride Academy of Arts, member of the World Geographical Society, member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia. Creative trips to India, Pakistan, Tibet - the Himalayas, Israel, the Caucasus. Since 1992, he has held 40 exhibitions in Crimea, Kyiv, Moscow, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, as well as the USA, Germany and the Czech Republic. As Hugo Schaufler says, Artem Puchkov is his best student, a master of landscape. Puchkov is called the “Crimean Roerich”.
