Sumi-e painting - art, which originated in China during the Song Dynasty. In the XIV century, it penetrates even to Japan. What kind of art can be understood from the name: the word Sumi-e is a combination of two Japanese words that means "ink" (SUMI) and "painting" (e). That is, sumi-e - a type of monochrome painting, like a watercolor. Unlike painting sumi-e is that it contains only black, as well as a wide range of grays carcasses dissolved in water. All this seems only a matter of technique, but is very important in this philosophical sense.
