Baptism

A continuation of a series of semi-abstract works on Christian themes. In all my works, I am preoccupied with the state evoked by a particular event. Baptism is considered the first appearance of Christ as the Son of God. At that moment, the Spirit descended and blessed him, and a voice from heaven was heard: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17). Thus, the Holy Trinity appeared: God the Father (the voice from heaven), God the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit (in the form of a dove). The name of the holiday has Greek roots: "I baptize," "baptize," means "I immerse in water." At that moment, he took upon himself the sins of humanity and began his public ministry, so to speak.
