In difficult times, it is especially difficult to think about what the Motherland is. For me, it is not a state, not borders, not politics and government. For me, it is the place where I soak up the culture, breathe in the language, feel my people... the place where I feel free. If for some reason those who are in no way associated with the Motherland begin to dictate their foundations, destroying the very foundations, everything that was built before them, God be their judge. The Motherland has not become worse or better from this, but living in it has always been difficult. It is not without reason that I quoted Kazimir Malevichs Red Horsemen here... Those times have passed, these will pass too.
