Svoff Svetlana

Biography

Svetlana Svoff was born on January 15, 1975, in the Rostov region. She is educated as a veterinarian and an accountant-auditor. She is a self-taught artist.

Until 2022, she lived in Odessa, where for the last five years she has been professionally engaged in sculpture and bas-relief. In the spring of 2022, she returned to Rostov-on-Don. Here, Svetlana began studying oil painting, taking lessons from various online schools, including S.A. Brusilov and A. Vostretsova, and is in a constant process of self-education.

In parallel with her studies, she hones her skills in plein air painting. Since the end of November 2023, she has been going out to paint every day, regardless of the weather. Currently, she prefers to work with oil, pastels, and charcoal. In the genres of painting, she has a particular preference for landscapes and portraits, but still enjoys still life and animal art.

Svetlana Svoff is a resident of the international artists' association ASM-club, a resident of the Association of Plein Air Artists, and a member of the Union of Russian Artists.
