I was inspired to create such a work by an outlandish colorful Iris from the garden of my teacher Lydia Vladimirovna Stolyarova. "Designer" is the name of the work and the variety of iris. The work was written partly based on impression (the foundation was laid immediately), partly from my photo, since no hand would rise to tear off such a sitter.
The basis is a thick cotton watercolor paper made by Palazzo. Professional St. Petersburg and Dutch watercolor paints were used for painting. Upon completion, I treated the border of the sheet with a potala. A thin ragged gold edge gives a special charm to the work. The "Designer" is decorated in a white passport and a white baguette.
