Are these toys?

A graphic work in oil pastel on professional pastel paper, measuring 42 x 60 cm. Unframed, in a storage bag or plastic wrap. This painting began as a piece about toys on a shelf. But as I worked, I realized it was very similar to the jars we use in our kitchens, and they really are a little alive, since we handle them every day, storing food in them. But when I finished, the whole painting made me think of clowns, circuses, and acrobats. And it seems like this is the first painting in a new circus series.
