Fisherwoman

This work continues the graphic series "Seasons". Butterflies, the river, fishing - these are my associations with summer. If we draw parallels with a period in a persons life, summer is the heyday, the time of strength and formation. In a relationship - bright love, romance, passion, sweetness, pleasure.
The pictorial language that is close to me is symbols, you can "read" my works like books using them.
Now, how to understand this picture: 
Water is our unconscious, deep as the sea and mysterious as a river. In it we are looking for the truth, answers to many questions.
It may seem frightening, and the fish symbolizes the stabilizing force that is a guide in this river of mysteries, and can also give courage in a period of doubt.
A person is afraid to explore the spiritual side of life, to know himself, to discover new facets, but pisces is our ability to dive into the depths of the subconscious in search of truth. And also
The fish symbolizes fertility and abundance. The summer of life is a time of unfolding spiritual potential and maximum productivity, this is the period when you already see the "fruits", but it takes time and effort for them to ripen.
The butterfly is a symbol of the immortality of the soul and transformation. The stages of development of a butterfly embody life, death and resurrection: everything is cyclical in its development - an adult lays eggs, a caterpillar appears from them, then a pupa and again a butterfly, which symbolizes the rebirth of the soul. 
The cat is a symbol of autonomy and independence, independence. She embodies certain qualities of character - a sense of freedom, the ability to make decisions, to hear herself. A cat is associated with the ability to see the hidden, secret, transforming inner potential of a person. And the cat is also a symbol of sexuality and sensuality.
The ship is a persons journey through life, the search for self-knowledge and personal transformation. The movement of the ship from one shore to the other is growth, aspiration and change towards integrity. The ship has a dual nature, it is driven simultaneously by wind and water, male and female, active and passive.The ship is a symbol of reconciliation of these opposites within oneself.
