Phases of the Moon. The last quarter

The series "Phases of the Moon" includes 6 drawings. The theme is revealed by the three-faced Hecate, the goddess of night and witchcraft. It is present in all works of the series. Here we see half of the waning moon. Therefore, half of the frontal face of the goddess is immersed in sleep. In the language of flora, the symbols of this period are fruits. Inscriptions in Latin help to reveal the plot more fully and bring depth and mystery to the image.
