Biography
Mileva (Rivina) Elena, art educator, was born in Rostov-on-Don, in 1990 she graduated from the Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. She taught fine arts at school, at the Pedagogical College. In 1996 she defended her Ph.D. She taught the methodology of teaching fine arts at the faculties of preschool and primary education of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, at the art and graphic faculty of the Murmansk Pedagogical Institute, worked in the system of advanced training and retraining of teachers in Moscow and the Moscow region. Currently lives in Bulgaria.
From 1999 to 2007 - Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia section of Applied Graphics. Participation in exhibitions: "Cossacks" (1995); "Cossacks" in the gallery "Le Cha", Central House of Artists (1995); "10 years of the Applied Art Graphics Section"; participation in the annual exhibitions of the section, including an exhibition of pastels (2003). She tried herself in book illustration - in 1993 the publishing house "Soviet Kuban" published a coloring book by Rivina E. "Cossack's family album". The main direction is teaching children, so mainly are used graphic techniques - dry and oil pastels, gouache, tempera, markers. Works are in private collections in Russia and Bulgaria.
