A patio in old Abbey

On one of the trips to Brittany, the author visited the old Beauport Abbey, which impressed him with its well-maintained ruin.
In one corner of the Abbey there was a charming courtyard, bathed in the sunlight and planted with plants and rose bushes.
The author has been thinking for a long time about what to use to portray that. Finally, the choice fell on oil pastels.
And so, the author shares with the audience the feeling of peace and frozen time. The sounds of modern life are not heard here, even the sounds of the past have died here. There are rocks and plants left, and the sun is shining brightly on it.
