Sea shore

Where else would one look for a mood of thoughtful contemplation, if not on the seashore closer to sunset?
The light rustle of the waves, the barely noticeable breath of the sea breeze and the endless space. The shore is empty, with no details. And only a lone pine enlivens the scene and seems to keep the artist company.
They are both standing on the shore, watching the landscape, and each is thinking about something own.
